Country Music Icon Kenny Rogers Hopes To Collaborate Again With Wyclef Jean

One of ‘Clef’s more shocking collabs, “Kenny Rogers – Pharaoh Monch Dub Plate” may see a follow-up, according to the 72 year-old Country icon.

Kenny Rogers is known for his Country music career and his popular Kenny Rogers Roasters chicken chains. The 72 year-old Houston, Texas native has worked in Hip Hop before though. On Wyclef Jean’s 2000 sophomore album, The Ecleftic: Two Sides To A Book, Rodgers was joined by Organized Konfusion’s Pharoahe Monch for the simply-titled “Kenny Rogers – Pharaoh Monch Dub Plate.”

On the song, Rogers reworked his 1978 hit “The Gambler” into Monch’s popular hit of the year “Simon Says.”
