The concert industry may have taken a hit in 2010, but career rockers Linkin Park are hoping to change that this year by offering fans their money’s worth — and more. The band has announced that any and all fans who attend one of their upcoming shows will get to take home a recording of the concert, for no additional charge above the ticket cost. That’s right — Linkin Park will give ticket holders free "bootlegs" of their shows.

"The energy we get from our fans is what makes a great show," bassist Dave Farrell tells WENN. "We wanted to show our appreciation by giving that experience back to them."

Fans will be required to text message a short code, which will be displayed at each concert. They will then receive a link via email to download the show
